Business District Connectivity Project

On June 16, 2025, a Community Open House was held to share information and give an update on the Complete Street Plan for the Business District Connectivity Project.  The Power Point  presentation is available at the bottom section of this page.  The Open House presentation may be viewed via this YouTube video. 

In February of 2023, the Town of Woodbridge adopted a pedestrian-based Connectivity Master Plan for the Woodbridge Business District.  The purpose of the plan is to strengthen pedestrian and bicycle linkages throughout the Woodbridge Business District, including strategies for traffic calming.  The goal of the plan is to encourage alternate modes of transportation, reduce traffic-related injuries and fatalities, attract new and unique businesses, enhance neighborhoods, and make the Woodbridge Business District a vibrant destination.

Pirie Associates engaged with the Town of Woodbridge's 2030 Task Force and broader community to formulate a specific and tailored approach to Vision & Placemaking in the Woodbridge Business District.  The intent was to honor and respond to the character of the District, which is uniquely bracketed between the beautiful cliffs of West Rock at the East and the Hills to the West.
