Adult Programs:
  • Yoga with Bill Banick  Daily morning sessions at 8:30 am to 9:45 am or Tuesday evening sessions 6:00 pm to 7:15 pm.  Outside weather permitting, otherwise online.  Contact Bill for more information 203-824-0927.   Winter session December 1 through February 28.  No classes on 12/24, 12/31, 1/17, 2/21.  
  •  Time to register for Bill's Thursday T'ai- Chi session. T'ai chi uses slow flowing and connected movement to integrate the mind and body and generate flexibility, strength and well-being. Dates:  Thursdays, January 6th- January 27th Time: 6:00-7:00pm Where: Center Building Room 16  Price: $48 for 4 classes.
  • Winter Session of Gentle Yoga with Diane King.  Register now.  Mondays,  January 10 through February 28, (no class January 17 and February 21).  10:30 am to 11:45 am.  The cost is $72.  Wednesdays, January 12 through February 16 , 10:30 am to 11:45 am.  The cost is $72.   Classes will be held in room 16 of the Center building.  Masks are required.  If you miss a class, you can make it up on a different day.  The goals will be to learn postures that create strength and ease, and to manage stress through breathing, movement, and guided relaxation. Please bring a small pillow or folded blanket (for sitting), a yoga strap or long scarf or necktie, and a tennis or similar size ball.   • Badminton  - January 12  though March 2, 2022.  Wednesday evenings, 7 pm to 9 pm.  Ages 16 and up.  Eight week session $70  membership or $10 drop in fee.  Beecher South Gym.  Bring your own racket, the net and birdies are supplied.   For more information call Jon in the Woodbridge Recreation Department office or email him at jon.demayo@woodbridgect.org 
  • The Town Pool -  Woodbridge residents or members must make a  reservation; drop ins are not accepted.  Call 203-389-3446 during Recreation Office hours,  Monday through Friday, 8am to 4 pm, to make a reservation.   Reservation time slots are:  Saturdays and Sundays: 12:00-12:45 pm, 1:00-1:45 pm, 2:00-2:45 pm, and 3:00-3:45 pm.  Monday,  and Wednesday: 7:45pm-8:30 pm, 8:30 pm-9:15 pm.    New Tuesday and Thursday evening time slots.  3:45-4:30,  4:30 pm- 5:15 pm, 5:15 -6:00 pm
  • The Fitness Center is available Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday mornings to Woodbridge members.  Resident seniors over 65 years of age are free.  Monday and Thursday morning hours are 9 am to 12 noon, Saturday hours are 8:00 am to 12:00 pm,  Sunday hours are  8:00 am to 12 noon.  Tuesday and Thursday hours are 6 pm to 8:45 pm.  Social distancing enforced.    Members must wear a mask at all times.
