The Town Clerk's office is responsible for the filing of 180 different types of deeds.

Maps
The Town Clerk's office receives and files all subdivision and survey maps. The maps are on a CD and copies are available. New town street maps are also available.

Notary Services
All of the Town Clerks are notaries and documents may be notarized in the Town Clerk's Office during regular office hours.

Petitions
The Town Clerk is responsible for the research of, and assistance in the creation of petitions and approval of petitions per state statute.

Sport Licenses
Connecticut hunting, trapping and fishing licenses may be purchased in local sports stores or online at the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.

The Town Clerk maintains an alphabetical listing of all registered trade names filed in the Town of Woodbridge.

Veterans' Discharge
Veterans Discharge Papers (Form DD214) can be filed in the Town Clerk's office and may qualify a veteran or spouse for local tax relief through the Assessor's office.

Vital Statistics
Registration of original documents of birth, death and marriage as well as burial and transit permits, cremation permits, and disinterment permits are handled through the clerk's office.
