[ARCHIVED] Community & Cultural Center - Public Information Meeting on January 25 at 7 pm

Woodbridge Cultural Center Conceptual Entry Rendering

Plans to convert the Old Firehouse into a Community and Cultural Center will be presented Wednesday, January 25 at 7 pm in the Friends Meeting Room at the Woodbridge Library. Residents are encouraged to attend this important public meeting to learn more about the proposed plan, ask questions, share ideas, and provide feedback.

The Community and Cultural Center is intended for many uses including recreational, cultural and community gathering spaces. Interior renovations and upgrades to the surrounding outdoor space are a part of this project. Funding via a State grant is now in place.

First Selectman Beth Heller created the Community and Cultural Center Building Committee to take on this important community project. The Committee is tasked with all phases of the project from conceptualization through completion. The group includes Chair Sandra Stein, Robert Tucker, and Andrea Weinstein.

Everyone is encouraged to attend this important meeting. If unable to attend, the meeting will be recorded and available later this month for viewing via the WGATV79 YouTube Link on the Home Page of the Town’s website at woodbridgect.org.

All comments and questions are welcome and should be directed to gshaw@woodbridgect.org.
