The Municipal election will be held on May 3 from 6 am to 8 pm in the Center Gym at 4 Meetinghouse Lane.
IN PERSON VOTING:
CDC guidelines will be followed for safe voting. Masks and social distancing by voters will be implemented. Voting booths will be cleaned after every use. Hand sanitizer will be available. Election Day Registration will be available, but you are encouraged to register early. You can register online at voterregistration.ct.gov.
ABSENTEE BALLOT VOTING:
Governor Lamont has issued executive order 10E which extends the right for voters to cite COVID-19 as a reason for an absentee ballot. To vote by absentee ballot you must submit an application to the Town Clerk’s office by May 2 at 4PM. Unlike prior elections applications are not automatically being sent to residences and you can obtain one by contacting the Town Clerk (203-389-3422) or downloading the application from AB Ballot . Applications and ballots may be returned by mail or dropped in the ballot box outside of Town Hall (11 Meetinghouse Lane).
