The Woodbridge Town Plan and Zoning Commission (TPZ) will hold a public hearing on an application by 2 Orchard Road LLC and Open Communities Trust, LLC at a Special Meeting of the TPZ to be held on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021 at 6:00 pm via WebEx.
This application proposes changes to the Zoning Regulations as well as to the Town Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD) to permit, in most of the Town’s residential districts, multi-family housing with affordable units. Materials submitted with this application, which are available on the TPZ website, recite that this application proposes a substantial change in the Zoning Regulations based on claims of illegality of the Town’s existing Zoning Regulations and that this application is designed to address the long-standing exclusion of multi-family and affordable housing and the POCD’s failure to plan for housing opportunity in Woodbridge.
