A note from First Selectman Heller:
I'm happy to share good news with you:
We will provide COVID-19 testing for asymptomatic individuals once a month for the next few months through Sema4 and the State. Test dates are this Sunday 12/20, Sunday Jan. 17 and Sun Feb. 14 from 1:30-4:30 at the Town's Center Building Gym.
If you have been exposed to COVID-19 or have symptoms, please call your doctor for an appointment to get a test.
The three scheduled test events will all happen at the Center Building Gym (4 Meetinghouse Lane). The line will start outside, go down the hallway and wind through the gym with people exiting through the gym's side door.
If these dates/times do not work for you or you want additional options, you may check CT’s 211 Testing Locator and enter your town, zip code or street address to find testing locations closest to you.
Griffin Hospital in Derby has expanded their hours to offer weekend testing times. If you call 203-437-6815 to make an appointment and use the word “community” you will not need a doctor’s note for a test appointment.
In New Haven the Fair Haven Community Health Clinic is operating daily testing at 293 East Street -- no doctor’s note required. They are doing walk-ups and taking appointments. Call 203-871-4179.
As a result of how widespread the pandemic is in Woodbridge, I continue to ask all residents to PLEASE wear a mask at all times, especially on Town property, including our walking trails and the playgrounds (unless you have a medical exemption or are under the age of 2). Again, as I have stressed and pleaded with everyone for many months, you must do your part to show that you care and respect each other by continuing to do three simple things: wear a mask, wash your hands frequently, and maintain your distance.
You can see the State map of municipal COVID rates here -- this is updated every Thursday.
As always, my door remains virtually open to you. If you need to reach me, please call 203-389-3401 or email me at bheller@woodbridgect.org.

Update from Sema4 regarding test results:
"Our goal is 24-48hr TAT. (turn- around-time). However, in a few instances that have become 48-72hrs.
My best advice for quicker and none delayed results, would be to advise that everyone try to include their emails, all required demographics and write as legibly as possible.
Emails cannot be shared among family members. (Each participant must have their own unique email) (regardless of age).
This way when the testing is complete we will send an alert to them by text informing them that they have results that are available in our portal for them to access.
Their email will allow the portal set up process."
