Woodbridge will be holding the Republican and Democratic primaries on August 11th at the Senior Center Cafeteria located in the Center building at 4 Meetinghouse Lane. There will also be a Democratic state senatorial primary for District 17 in the same location.
The polls will be open from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm.
All voters who are registered Republican or Democrat and have not submitted an absentee ballot may vote in person.
August 6th is the deadline for new voters, and for unaffiliated voters, to enroll in a party for voting in its primary using the online registration: voterregistration.ct.gov
For new voters, mail-in voter registration applications must be postmarked, or received by Registrar of Voters by August 8th. For unaffiliated voters enrolling in a party, the mail-in application must be received (not merely postmarked) by the Registrar of Voters by this deadline also. There is a ballot box at Town Hall (11 Meetinghouse Lane).
Unaffiliated voters may register with a party in person up to noon August 10th. Please call the Town Clerk (see below) for an appointment for in-person registration.
Please bring ID, a mask and a blue or black pen to the election. Social distancing markings will allow for safer voting.
If you have any questions, you may call the Town Clerk at 203-389-3422 during business hours 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
