The Town of Woodbridge owns a large parcel of land in the center of town known as the Fitzgerald Tract where the Woodbridge Community Gardens are located. Established in 1976, the Community Gardens are made up of individual plots made available for a small fee. Residents may apply annually to rent a maximum of two garden plots. A volunteer group, known as the Woodbridge Community Gardens Committee (WCGC), coordinates the program, and the Town collects WCGC dues.
