Hello WRD Families,
It is hard to believe we have entered our final week of the 2018 camp season. We have had a fantastic camp season. It is bittersweet to know that while there is still some Summer left, school preparations are right around the corner.
This Week:
Today we had a surprise visit from Sean Rowland, Woodbridge Fire Chief who brought a big rig to cool us all down. We had great fun running through the shower from the high ladder! Thanks Chief!!!
Tomorrow, we will have a visit from David Garrity, Illusionist co-sponsored by Woodbridge Youth Services. We are again thankful for the support of Nancy Pfund and our Youth Services Department.
We have our Pre- School campers heading to Amity Bowl on Wednesday and on Thursday our 2nd grade – 8th grade campers will be going ice-skating at the Milford Ice Pavilion. (permission slips attached). 1st grade groups will have a special project provided by The Whitney Water Center.
We finish our week with our annual pizza party and slide show. We all look forward to this recap of all the great memories of the summer of 2018. Our Counselors have enjoyed working with all of the campers and we want to thank you for joining us this summer. We hope your campers will remember it long into the new school year. We look forward to seeing everyone in 2019! Have a great year.
