The Board of Finance will hold its Preliminary Budget Hearing on Monday, April 24 at 7:30 pm in the auditorium at the Amity Regional High School (25 Newton Road).
Residents should have received in the mail the FY2024 Preliminary Budget Mailer which contains a summary of the operating budget. More detailed budget information is available in the Fiscal Year 2024 Preliminary Budget Just the Numbers Book and the Fiscal Year 2024 Digital Preliminary Budget located in the Annual Budget section of the Finance Department’s page on the Town website.
The Preliminary Budget Hearing is designed so that residents may ask questions or make comments about the proposed budget ahead of the Annual Town Meeting. Following this hearing, the Board of Finance may make changes to the proposed budget which then will be presented at the Annual Town Meeting set to take place at Amity Regional High School on Monday, May 15 at 7:30 pm.
