Woodbridge Human Services department is working hard to help get residents age 75+ vaccinated. We’ve recently learned that due to the limited vaccine supply it is unlikely we will be able to hold more than one or two small vaccine clinics in town. The advice we are receiving changes frequently -- please be patient as we navigate this system. The Governor recently shared that more than 1 million residents are eligible for vaccines, but the State only receives 46,000 doses per week. As soon as we have more information, we will share it with you!
Residents 75+ are eligible and those age 65-74 will become eligible sometime in February. Everyone eligible should visit this State page for details on how to sign up for an appointment.
You may also call Griffin Hospital directly for their site in Shelton (203-433-3394) or Yale New Haven (1-203-688-1700). If you need help navigating any of these resources call the Human Services Department at 203-389-3430 or 389-3429.
