[ARCHIVED] Police Chief Reminds You to Lock Your Car

During the past week, vehicles parked at homes located in various areas of town were rummaged through during the early morning hours. In each incident, these cars had been parked and left unlocked. A car, left unlocked and with the keys inside, was stolen from a Peck Hill Road residence over the weekend and was recovered several hours later being operated by a juvenile from Waterbury, CT.

“I strongly suggest that all residents make it a habit to lock their car doors every night and secure the keys. Help us to help you - don’t make it easy for a thief to steal your car or your car’s contents,” says Woodbridge Police Chief Frank Cappiello.
